So, here’s little bit about what you can expect when you visit. We are located 2416 Cherry St. in Mt. Vernon, IL. There is quick and easy access to the parking lots on both sides of the building. And for your convenience you'll find an accessible ramp on the east side.
The atmosphere is relaxed so don’t worry about what to wear. We dress casually. Before service there’s time to chat and get to know each other over coffee and donuts.
When you come for a visit and have a question about the service or just want to know where the bathroom is, you can ask anyone. The people at CFC are loving and caring and would be glad to help.
At Christian Fellowship
We believe the church is not a building, but the people: it’s a community and family where we learn, grow and do life together. Our desire each week is to get into the word together and allow God to work in us to become more like Jesus. And then go share Jesus with the world.
Sunday mornings
Begins at 9:00 am with Adult Sunday School then at 10:15 am we have worship and a time in the word. Our worship is contemporary with a little bit of old school thrown in for good measure. The service times run between 1 ½ to 2 hours long.
We have stuff for the kids too.
God’s Club (ages Pre- K to 12) begins after worship. And we have it every Sunday except for Communion Sunday. And for the off weeks there are activity bags for the kids to use during service.
Nursery (0 to pre- k) starts after worship as well. It is staffed every week and is open for parents to use anytime. We also have a nursing room available for moms.
